About TEDxAruba
Aruba is organizing on September 23rd, 2015 a TEDxAruba. This event will attract people and companies in the areas of Tech, Education and Design in order to share their sustainable concepts with Aruba, the region, Europe and the America’s. There’s going to be a nice mix of international and local speakers who will address a wide range of topics within the research and practice of science & culture. The speakers are given a maximum of 18 minutes to present their ideas in the most innovative and engaging ways they can.
The TEDxAruba mission is to propagate Ideas worth Spreading and Actions worth Doing; to inform and inspire. Our specific goal is to turn TEDxAruba into the Caribbeans leading platform and pipeline for great ideas, storytelling, creativity, actionable innovation. In addition to this, our goal is to foster a sense of community amongst the people and organizations who have gathered (and will continue to gather) around this event and to provide a cultural driving force for conversation and action on how to create a sustainable society.
