The Freezone at Hato recently started the Incubator Project where new entrepreneurs in establishments of 50 square meters can start their business.

The project was launched together with Curaçao Industrial & International Trade Development Company (Curinde), that uses this initiative to encourage local entrepreneurs to participate in international trade through the facilities of the Economic Zone. The entrepreneurs will be provided with a physical spot in a so-called ‘incubator’ where four companies can establish themselves in a private area of 50 square meters, but share central facilities such as a kitchen and toilets.

,,The project has not yet started or the spaces are already all occupied, “said Curinde. Minister Rhuggenaath of Economic Development also welcomes this development and suggests that the project is fully in line with his policy.
