Cooperation between Bonaire and Port of Amsterdam
Prior to Caribbean Netherlands week, the Executive Council of Bonaire has made several working visits in the Netherlands.
Monday, the 1st of June governor Edison Rijna and commissioner Clark Abraham discussed possible forms of cooperation with the Port of Amsterdam.
During the meeting in Amsterdam they have discussed the development and professionalization of the seaports on Bonaire. The Port of Amsterdam is willing to give Bonaire advice on the development of their seaports. During a follow-up meeting, where the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment will also be present, the necessary repair of the South pier will be discussed.
